Transparency

 

The Society for Threatened Peoples (STP) would like to promote transparency. Therefore, we have joined the Initiative Transparent Civil Society (ITZ) and make the following ten pieces of information available to the public and keep them up to date.

 

1. Name, Location, Address and Year of Foundation

The organisation bears the name "Society for Threatened Peoples", abbreviated to "STP". It is entered in the Register of Associations at Göttingen Local Court under No. VR 1804.

The association has its seat in Geiststraße 7, 37073 Göttingen. The association was founded on 02.07.1968.

3. Information on the tax benefit

The Society for Threatened Peoples (Gesellschaft für bedrohte Völker e.V.) is, according to the last exemption notice we received from the Göttingen tax office (tax number 20/206/01189) dated March 5, 2019 (assessment period 2015 to 2017), exempt from both corporate income tax under Section 5 (1) No. 9 of the Corporate Income Tax Act and trade tax under Section 3 No. 6 of the Trade Tax Act.
