And nowhere else are ethnic and religious minorities the target of such brutal oppression.

We were promised that the nation hosting the Games would take action to improve its human rights record.

Dear Mr President

When the 2008 Olympic Games were awarded to Beijing, China promised to improve its record on human rights. Nevertheless horrific violations of human rights continue to take place in the Olympic host nation.

These target in particular members of minorities including Tibetans, Uighurs, Mongols, Christians and Falun Gong practitioners.

A celebration of sporting excellence is incompatible with abuses that cry out to the heavens for justice!

I urge your government to make good its Olympic promises immediately!

- NO MORE EXECUTIONS, TORTURE OR ORGAN-STEALING!

- CLOSE THE LABOUR CAMPS!

- END THE OPPRESSION OF MINORITIES!

- RESPECT FREEDOM OF OPINION AND BELIEF!

- NO PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MURDEROUS REGIME IN SUDAN!
